These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of GigPayStub.com (the "Site" or "Service"), operated by GigPayStub ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Site, generating a pay stub, or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. What this Service is

GigPayStub is a self-service document generation tool. You enter income, deduction, and employment information yourself, and the Service formats it into a pay stub document ("Pay Stub"). We do not verify, calculate on your behalf beyond basic arithmetic you can review live, or independently confirm any information you enter.

Important: A Pay Stub generated through this Service is created entirely from information you provide. It is not issued by an employer, a payroll provider, or any government body, and it does not constitute official payroll documentation, tax advice, or legal advice.

2. Your responsibility for accuracy

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of all information you enter. This includes income amounts, hours, rates, deductions, tax figures, and any other data appearing on your generated Pay Stub. We do not independently calculate state or federal tax withholding on your behalf — where tax fields are left blank for you to complete, you are responsible for entering figures that reflect your actual situation.

We make no representation that any figures shown, pre-filled, or calculated by the Service (including flat-rate payroll tax estimates such as Social Security and Medicare) are accurate for your specific circumstances, jurisdiction, or filing status.

3. Prohibited use

You agree not to use this Service to:

Create a document that misrepresents your actual income, employment, or financial situation to any third party, including landlords, lenders, banks, government agencies, or employers;
Impersonate a real business, employer, or individual without authorization;
Commit or facilitate fraud, identity theft, loan fraud, rental application fraud, or any other unlawful act;
Generate documentation for someone else without their knowledge and consent.

Any use of a Pay Stub generated through this Service to misrepresent facts to a third party is done entirely at your own risk and is a violation of these Terms. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone we reasonably suspect of misusing the Service.

4. No guarantee of acceptance

We do not guarantee that any Pay Stub generated through this Service will be accepted by any landlord, bank, lender, government agency, employer, or other third party. Acceptance of income documentation is entirely at the discretion of the party requesting it.

5. Payments

Pay Stub downloads are provided on a one-time payment or subscription basis as described on the Site at the time of purchase. All payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your payment card information. Prices and available plans may change at any time without affecting purchases already completed. Due to the instant, self-service nature of the product, purchases are generally non-refundable once a Pay Stub has been downloaded, except where required by law.

6. Data handling

As described in our Privacy Policy, information you enter into the Pay Stub generator is processed in your browser for the purpose of generating your document and is not stored on our servers. Please review the Privacy Policy for full details.

7. "As is" service, no warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any document it produces will meet your specific requirements or be accepted by any third party.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GigPayStub and its owner(s) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of income, profits, opportunity, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service, any Pay Stub generated through it, or any reliance placed on it by you or any third party. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which GigPayStub operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
